Roeslein & Associates, Inc. is this month's Spotlight on a Business, sponsored by the Red Bud Chamber of Commerce. Roeslein was founded in 1990 by Rudi Roeslein who opened a fabrication plant in Red Bud in 2006. This year marks 10 years for the Red Bud business.
What started in 2006 as 50,000 square feet and 15 workers has seen tremendous growth as Roeslein expands its modular fabrication offerings. Currently at more than 375,000 square feet on 24 acres, Roeslein Modular Fabrication employs more than 185 people and is looking to expand the number even more.
"The success of our Red Bud manufacturing facility is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the entire Roeslein organization" said Brian Sneed, Roeslein CFO and vice president. "In order to make this venture successful, it has required the cooperation of all of our employees from engineering to procurement to manufacturing. It has truly been a team effort which is what makes this 10 year anniversary milestone so special."
Roeslein produces modular process systems for both domestic and global customers in the container manufacturing, packaging, oil and gas, chemical, power and alternative energy markets. Departments include structural steel fabrication, stainless, and carbon pipe fabrication, industrial painting, electrical, assembly and shipping all under roof. Office facilities were recently expanded to include additional office, meeting and training spaces.
Roeslein & Associates specializes in engineering, modular fabrication and construction services. The company has product offerings in both the container manufacturing industry and the process and energy sectors with annual revenues over $200 million. Its 350 plus employees are spread throughout offices in St. Louis, MO (HQ); Red Bud; Denver, CO; Birmingham, UK; and Shanghai, China. It was also recently announced that Roeslein & Associates, Inc. was named to the Best Places to Work by the Saint Louis Business Journal.
The Best Places to Work is based solely on surveys completed by employees about their workplace. Roeslein was one of nearly 150 companies in the award. Each company was evaluated and measured on communication, management structure, benefits, teamwork and other factores important to employees. Forty-six companies were recognized and divided into five categories according to size, in which Roeslein was among the medium companies ranging from 100-249 employees within the survey area.
"Roeslein is extremely proud of the recently awarded 'Best Places to Work' in St. Louis and it is testimony to our Roeslein employees and the culture at Roeslein," said Roeslein President Dave May. "This award, on the heels of passing our 25th year in business and 2015 being a record year in terms of revenue, is a great way to finish 2015. We are very proud of our employees and all of those involved in our business. We are positioned to continue forward with great success."
