Hi-Way Motor Company, Inc. is the business featured this month in the Spotlight on Business, sponsored by the Red Bud Chamber of Commerce. Hi-Way Motors was founded in 1954 by Vess Horrell. His son Randy Horrell later became an owner in 1976 and incorporated in 1980. Randy's wife Peggy and their son Jared Horrell joined the business in 2007 as the office manager and general manager. Currently, they employ eight to nine people from the local and surrounding communities.
Located at 1120 South Main in Red Bud, Hi-Way Motors specializes in the late model - low mileage cars, trucks and SUVs. They pride themselves on having "big city selection with our small hometown way of doing business." Hi-Way Motors has a full on-site auto repair service facility and all of their vehicles go through a rigorous multi-point inspection by their certified technicians. "We stand behind our vehicles by putting a full 30 day or 1,000 mile full 100 percent mechanical warranty on any vehicle under 100,000 miles." They can do all vehicle maintenance and offer free loaner cars to service customers.
Hi-Way Motors is also a registerd Rough Country Suspension dealer, so they can help fully customize new or current vehicles with bigger wheels, tires and/or a suspension lift. Previous customers can refer friends or family and if they purchase a vehicle, Hi-Way Motors will give the referring customer $100. There is no limit to the amount of referrals.
