What is Witches Night Out? It’s an annual event for ticketed witches to trick or treat at participating businesses.
What comes with the purchase of a ticket? A commemorative t-shirt and tricks or treats at participating busineses. All proceeds from the event are donated to a local charity chosen that night. Not interested in the t-shirt? You can opt out and all of the monies will be donated to the charity.
How is the charity chosen? When you check-in at The Bale Out, you will vote on the charity that you think deserves the proceeds. At the end of the night we will announce the charity! It’s a win/win for everyone!
What shirt sizes are offered? We are offering Small through 4XL. An image of the shirt will be available soon.
When will I know which business is participating? A final list will be posted the day of the event and handed out at check-in.
Can someone else check-in for me? Absolutely! Just know they will get to vote for the charity that you choose. Just let us know ahead of time that they will be picking up your items.
At the last Chamber Luncheon, Bria Caldwell of The Violence Prevention Center of Southwestern Illinois spoke to members about a subject that people have difficulty speaking about, “Domestic Violence”. Her passion for her company and the mission they work daily to accomplish is heartfelt and eye-opening. They strive to eliminate domestic violence in individual lives and in society as a whole.
As the meeting came to a close Bria was introduced to several leaders in our community and was able to make some valuable connections. After the meeting, Lori Murphy of Southwestern Illinois College coordinated with Bria to schedule a training session at SWIC in Red Bud to further demonstrate how you and your community can help.
